App is always spinning and you have to x out and do it again (sometimes numerous times) before it advances to the screen you want. Generating reports is not simplistic and user-friendly. Setting up printers is ridiculously complicated. Online info is totally not helpful and the links are always broken. No way to contact a live person when you need them.
Square is easy to use and I love being able to send an invoice! Also it makes doing my taxes at the end of the year so easy!

Square has been amazing to us. It allows us to gain access to our money as soon as same day. This helps a lot when you’re buying materials for the business. Thank you Square for all your help. Very easyPOS as well.
Love the app overall, but it’s a serious pain to switch between store locations — it requires several steps (vs an easy toggle) and now it’s even unclear which location you’re in because the new “mode” header replaced the prior location header. This needs to be fixed ASAP!
EVERYTHING is more difficult following the most recent update to the app. I also lost my current cash drawer and all associated history. Discounts now need to be added to items individually at checkout. Terrible.
Square has everything I need in the app to keep my business running efficiently. I don’t mind the small fees because literally everything I need is in one place, it’s user friendly and is professional looking to my customers.

I love using Square for my small business however, I have gotten a Square reader second generation for contact list Chip and tap unfortunately I am not able to get it to connect to my iPad which is an old iPad. Is there a way to Troubleshoot this?

We have had so many issue with the customer display. Even when replacing wire and system. If the customer display is attached it doesn't want to work many times. Usually the wrong times. Now I just replaced the cords for $99.00 and the tip options doesn't want to work much of the time When people want to tip Me. I have to restart and I lose the tip. Not to mention when the customer display doesn't work and I have to manually enter the credit card square charges a higher fee which I don't understand. Personally I think you all put the issue there so we have to pay the higher fee. Why the higher fee? We are the ones doing the extra work. The fees are terrible for this. Especially when it's your system not working and causing the inconvenience to us. I dont even know whats up With the tips not working again. I am going to be looking for a new system before you raisetve fees this year.
Be prepared when you first start your account they are going to try and play around with you and send you three different surveys and information forms which will take one to two business days each time they decide the first one wasn’t good enough even though you filled out the information needed.

Customer service is very rude hung up in my face multiple times also lied bluntly. Other than that app is very easy to use
Using the app and square service for a few months and was abruptly deactivated without any explanation or evidence of misconduct and can’t be provided any information as to why my funds are locked for 90-180 days. I can’t even be told what happened or provided with evidence by calling the company. When I call customer service, they explain that I can no longer process transactions, but I am free to set up another account with a different email which blows my mind. Upon researching, it seems this happens to a lot of people I would suggest you look into their competitors first before using Square to process payments.

I’ve been a Square customer for a long over 10 years I’ve never had a single problem I also use their loan service to help me business needs there should be more services like this out there I’m glad I found them. I will stay with regardless of the offers that I’ve had offering me better rates better this better than that I can’t be persuaded… A+++

I’m writing because they closed my square account and refused to open it back up for no reason. I had $100 on the account and they said that there was nothing they could do about it.
Easy to use. Simple to install and very convenient for me and my customers. I can keep track of everything all in one spot no additional equipment to buy can manage which I have with me all the time anyway. Very very happy thank you square.
I really like using square but the rates are so high. It really takes a chunk out of my profits. I need to start adding it into the cost of a job.
I am in a studio with four partners and having to log in and out of each person’s account is a real pain. You need an option for multi merchant accounts from one square.
Sad that they did this to the small businesses.

I lost my Square and just need a new one!!!
This new modes is a mess. I should not be forced to select different sets of tools at a time to use this system. They moved everything. I don’t know if I am in a test group or what, but none of my buisiness friends apps did this and it’s entirely bricked half of my set up. There is no way to remove it, and. I can no longer open square invoices but the main app doesn’t have the features and the rake invoice mode is broken and can neither be used more removed and keeps defaulting to my phone. I hate this.
